  • You vote in person, at the polling station where you are registered in the Voter List.
  • You can check your data in the Voter List at izbirackispisok.gov.mk
  • You always vote in your own name and only once.
  • Voting is free and secret, and no one can determine how you voted.
  • To vote, you must bring a personal identification document: a valid ID card or passport, or an ID card or passport whose validity expired in the period from July 24, 2023 to April 24, 2024.
  • You are also identified by a fingerprint from your right index finger. The fingerprint is verified with technical equipment operated by the electoral board.
  • You must sign the extract from the Voter List at your polling station.
  • You receive only one ballot, on which the electoral board must previously place a stamp.
  • You vote alone, secretly, behind a voting screen.
  • You vote by circling the ordinal number before the name of the list.
  • Only a ballot circled with a blue ballpoint pen is valid.
  • You put the folded ballot into the ballot box.
  • No one may call you to account because of your vote, nor ask you to say how you voted or why you did not vote.
  • If your personal voting right is violated at any stage of the process or during the voting procedure, you may submit an objection to the SEC within 24 hours.
  • Family voting, group voting, and voting on behalf of another person are prohibited.
  • Photographing the ballot with a mobile phone or camera is prohibited.
  • Carrying weapons at the polling station is prohibited.
